Glorious day!

Salut mes amis!

Oh what a glorious day! Today we were in the 70s...not hot, hot, hot, BUT gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I came home from a session with a client about 4, did a little more work, and just had to get out again. So I walked and walked and walked. Didn't buy anything. Didn't do anything productive. Just wandered. It's one of my favorite things to do here. So, right, I'm here to express gratitude. Here goes:

1)  yes, I'm going to say it for the 100th time because last year we barely had ONE warm day and it came in June, so I feel the need to let it be known that I am so very grateful for this glorious spring we are having and that it came during springtime instead of coming for a short two-week appearance in June.
2)  burrata. In case you don't know it, it is a heavenly mozzarella and cream combination that will ruin all other types of mozzarella for you. But it's worth it. Burrata means buttered if that gives you any indication of it's divine nature. I had some last week (at one of Catherine Deneuve's favorite restos, by the way), and I want more.
3)  spring/summer clothes. I am SO over heavy coats, tights, JEANS, boots, hats, scarves, etc. I love just putting on a dress or a skirt and a top and going. No insulation needed.
4)  fun celebration dinners with good friends
5)  possibilities

Oh, and the picture...it's the view from my friend Allen's apartment. Sweet, right? In the background is the Pantheon, and right beside it is the Eiffel Tower sparkling. More gorgeous.

Ok, your turn...tell me what you're grateful for today!
bisous

  1. I am glad you are having warm weather. It can't seem to make up its mind here. One day it is 82 degrees and the next it doesn't get out of the 40's. Soooo, I too am thankful for the few 80 degree days we have gotten.

  3. Sounds like a re-cap of my visit: Casa Bini's burrata, spring weather, skirts, sandals, the view from Allen's, and sharing great food and deep belly laughs with old friends...LOVE it!
