Simplicity

Uh, hi!

Yeah, I know...it has been TOO long since I've come here to show my gratitude. That doesn't mean I haven't been feeling it, of course, but like the top of the blog says, it's important to express it too.

I've decided that a more simple approach may make it more likely that I'll come here even on those days that I lack inspiration or feel like I have nothing terribly interesting to say. So, when I have nothing more than a simple list of things I'm grateful for, that's all I'll post. But that's enough, and it's far better than the nothingness I've been posting of late.

That being said, today I've got a little more than just a list to share. Today I'm grateful for the chance to start over. That's one of the things that Easter means to me. A fresh start. Spring is here (according to the calendar if not the weather), flowers are blooming, the days are longer and the sun is a more frequent companion. All of this renewal makes me feel like I have a chance at renewal too. I've got some new projects that I'm excited about (doors closing; windows opening), and for all of this I am grateful.

So thank you for giving me the opportunity to re-emerge after a long, cold winter. And if you'd care to share the things you're grateful for, I'd love to read about them!
