Hi friends!
Two days into the new year, and I have a cold. But I also have the most wonderful source for vitamin C - this beautiful fruit, la clémentine. They are so much easier to peel than oranges, and they're delicious. I bought a box for Mom and Dad's stockings over Christmas, and the "soculentes" are in all the Paris markets right now. I bought ten today...I figure I'll eat at least two a day! Don't mind the photography; I'm quite the amateur, although I think the colors are nice.
So today I am grateful for:
1) sweet, juicy clémentines
2) another day to rest before a whirlwind January schedule moves into high gear
3) soft tissues
4) the company of Potter and Gracie
5) new years resolutions still shiny and new...and not yet broken! :)
What about you?
bisous
1) Also grateful for clementines! They ARE so much easier to peel than oranges, but even better is that I don't have to pull off all the little stringy things that come with tangerines. And they taste WONDERFUL.
ReplyDelete2) That I only gained 2 lbs over the holidays. Probably mostly from too much wine :-) but hopefully easily lost.
3) A warm home, some decent weather for the past 2 days, and plenty of yarn to keep me busy knitting.
4) My much-loved pets, who remind me every day who is REALLY the boss around here. (Hint - it is NOT me)
5) My sweet hubby, who cooked the sweetest, most delicious sweet potatoes ever tonight.
1) My ability to reflect on my life with compassion and embrace the choices I have made along the way.
ReplyDelete2) Knowing that each day offers a new perspective.
3) The red sauce I made on New Year's Day and how delicious it tasted over pasta this afternoon.
4) The sweet purring sound from my boy, Raja (my cat), and his constant vocalization in response when I speak to him.
5) My soft pajamas.
I hope you feel better, Gina!
