Salut mes amis!

Ouf...I am full. Just came back from a yummy dinner with a sweet friend. Good entree, mediocre plat, but amazing cheese tray and dessert. I could actually be happy with the cheese tray, a little red wine, and the dessert. Hmmm....next time. The dessert:  a baba au rhum...cake bathed (completely soaked) in rum with chantilly...whipped cream. Oh. My...this is sinfully good stuff.

So, on the grateful list today:

• enormous cheese trays
• somewhat pickled cake for dessert...with whipped cream, of course
• a fun friend to share it all with
• a nice little after-dinner walk (I needed a long run instead but wasn't appropriately dressed)
• a comfy made up bed to climb into and have sweet, (rum-soaked) dreams
