Brrrr...

Friends, it is COLD here right now! I walked to work this morning, and it was great, but the first 10 minutes before I got warmed up were brrrr chilly. So I'm very grateful for a cozy, well-heated apartment.

Yesterday was much less chilly, and my friend Donna and I went to the Marché de Noel at La Défense--a huge marché that everyone in the surrounding area decided to visit yesterday, apparently. I love the marchés, and even when I don't buy anything, I love wandering through them. But yesterday I bought earmuffs. To quote a friend, "last year I thought my ears were going to fall off." Me too, so I'm thankful for my new ear-saving earmuffs.

I'm also grateful for:

• paper calendars
• paper books
• beautiful Christmas ornaments

I may even get a little tree this year. TBD...they're expensive here, so I'd have to find a deal on one to buy it. I do miss having one though.
